Kuridai

THEORY ABOUT PLACE OF ORIGIN

There are no clues about the volcanic area they used to roam. This book written by dwarfs, mentions that the volcanic regions where they met the agressive Kuridai was beyond the thundery mountains. There are only four known volcanoes in Tibia, The Big Old One, which houses the city of Kazordoon, the Goroma Volcano, the Furious Crater and the one near Gnomprona. The first is not an active volcano, the third one does not have lava and is an island itself without land surrounding it and the fourth is an underground volcano with no ground-level terrain around it. It is known that the Shattered Isles took their name after the great explosion that broke them apart. These two books mention part of the catastrophe, Tibiantis Critique and The Animal Kings. Assuming the volcanic area they lived was Goroma, the thundery mountains could have been the Vandura Mountain, inhabited by the electric dragons, the Wyrms. However, there are no traces of elves in Vandura. The only dwarves in the immediate area are the Lost, found directly below Meriana and Goroma in the Lower Spike, unaccessible from Vandura.

WHAT PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE KURIDAI CASTE

Kuridai see themselves as the heart of the elven society, they consider their tasks and duties are the only way to preserve the elven society while thinking the other castes do not enough or are simply useless. On the other hand, the rest of the elven society perceive the Kuridai as handful, but short-tempered and easy to provocate. This would lead them to eventually follow a dark path or to die in a foolish war.
