Eldoran's connection to the hunt, and especially concerning the stag, however, has prompted several attempts of settling all kinds of game on the Adaean Isle. This favourite pastime of his was also a focus of other members of Eldoran's line. Especially Eldoran the Red, famous for his bloody raids as well as successful hunts all over the realm. He was eager to foster a quality breed of deer on the isle, fit for royal hunts. The majestic imperials that have since been the pride of Adaean huntsmen are not a common sight, however. They are a very rare sight and usually dedicated to the arrows of Eldoran's heirs themselves. Excerpt from the Memoirs of Eldoran the Younger about his father: "Hunting with his uncle was one of the favourite pastimes of young Eldoran. It was then and only then when they could both be themselves, Eldoran, unknowingly the son and Cadwgan, his father. The bannwald near Carlin, a protected forest under the jurisdiction of Cadwgan, was the ideal place to teach his offspring the ropes in terms of the hunt, its ethics and survival in the wild. It did not occur to Eldoran at this time that every kill would have been an offense and the possession of royal venison was prohibited by law if done by any other than him and Cadwgan. At his eighteenth birthday, Eldoran brings down an imperial, a fourteen-pointer no less. Proud as he could be as a father, looking at the cadaver he pondered his nobility, the heritage of his name and the errors he wished to undo. Hastily they eviscerate the deer and run away with their game like common poachers. The thrill and joy of this adventure, peaceful and free together, remained Eldoran's true memory of his father, engraved in his heart for the rest of his life."
