- Weapons change frequently in early levels - don't invest heavily until level 200+

LEVEL 8: STARTING LOADOUT
Your first complete monk setup. All items are affordable and easily obtainable.

LEVEL 20: FIRST WEAPON UPGRADE
Keep all level 8 gear, just upgrade your weapon.

Weapon upgrade for physical damage output.

LEVEL 50: MID-EARLY GAME
Better weapon and backup ring option.



Solid weapon until level 80+
Backup: Butterfly Ring
LEVEL 60: BOOTS UPGRADE
First major boots upgrade with better defense.



LEVEL 70: HELMET UPGRADE
K-Hat adds damage boost to Chain abilities.



+6% base damage from Chain abilities
LEVEL 80: WEAPON & BOOTS UPDATE
Iron Fists for physical damage and Steel Boots for fist skill.

LEVEL 90: DRAGON CLAW
Dragon Claw will be your main energy weapon for a long time.

LEVEL 100: TRINKET UPGRADES
Better amulet and ring options that don't need charging.



No charging needed
+magic level, +2% physical resistance
LEVEL 120: PRISMATIC RING OPTION
Same loadout with Prismatic Ring as survival option.



Swap to Prismatic Ring when struggling
LEVEL 130: ICE WEAPON OPTION
Jungle Bow as ice damage alternative.



Keep Dragon Claw as main. Jungle Bow for ice-weak creatures
LEVEL 150: LEGS UPGRADE
Gnome Legs for better protection.

LEVEL 180: HELMET UPGRADE
Dark Vision Bandana adds 2nd imbuement slot.



2nd imbuement slot, +2 fist, +4% energy resistance
LEVEL 200: NUNCHAKU OF DESTRUCTION
3 imbuement slots! Major weapon upgrade from Adventurer's Guild.

LEVEL 220: FIRST BIS AMULET
Enchanted Pendulet is your first affordable best-in-slot item!



Optional: Jade Legs at 210 for mana
FIRST CHEAP BIS! +3 fist, +1 level, +4% physical, +15% fire
LEVEL 250: COBRA & STOIC
Earth weapon and healing boost armor.



+8% healing boost for Divine Remedy. Energy resistance.
Optional: Dawnfire Pantaloons at 230 for death protection
Earth weapon. Life leech, 2 imbuement slots. Better returns than Naga Katar.
LEVEL 260: BOOTS UPGRADE
Soulstalkers boost Greater Flurry damage.



+8% Greater Flurry of Blows base damage
LEVEL 270: LION CLAWS
Finally replaces Dragon Claw for energy damage.



Optional: Naga Tanko (fire resist not worth losing 8% healing)
Replaces Dragon Claw for energy damage
LEVEL 300: FALCON SET
BiS helmet and legs. Spiritthorn Armor if rich.



BiS helmet option but expensive
BiS armor but VERY expensive. +15% healing boost. Keep Stoic Iks Robe if poor.
BiS legs
Optional: Falcon Rod (physical damage, Rosha mules only)
LEVEL 400: SPIRITTHORN HELMET & SOULWALKERS
BiS helmet and boots. Major offensive and defensive upgrades.



BiS helmet. +10% Greater Flurry base damage, +7% Chain base damage
BiS boots. Level 600 boots exist - buy knowing this.
LEVEL 500: ARBOREAL CROWN OPTION
Alternative helmet with different resistances.



Optional: Arboreal Crown for different resistances
LEVEL 600: COMPLETE BIS SETUP
Full best-in-slot loadout for endgame content.


Level 600 boots might release in future updates
Strong fire weapon with 3 slots and life/mana leech
BiS shield for defensive stats
BIS PURCHASE PRIORITY ORDER
If you're buying equipment for a naked level 600 monk, purchase in this order for maximum impact per gold spent:
Cheapest BiS. Wear on almost every hunt. +3 fist, +4% physical, +15% fire.
BiS legs with great all-around stats. Major defense upgrade.
BiS armor. Expensive but +15% healing boost is massive for survivability.
BiS helmet. +10% Greater Flurry, +7% Chain damage. Game-changing offensive boost.
BiS boots until level 600. Be aware level 600 boots might release in future.
Alternative helmet if you can't afford Spiritthorn yet. Solid defensive option.
