Paladin Leveling Guide: Levels 100 to 200
Best hunting spots by level with real exp/hr rates. Crystalline Arrow era through the Diamond Arrow power spike at 150. Equipment progression, ammo guide, and spell rotations.
TL;DR -- FASTEST LEVELING PATH
Level 100-130: Crystalline Arrow Era
Single-target arrows plus AoE runes -- building toward the Diamond Arrow power spike
💡 PALADIN HUNTING BASICS AT 100
Unlike knights who box and AoE with melee spells, paladins deal damage at range. Your core loop: run through a spawn, pull creatures into a cluster, then fire Crystalline Arrows at the group while throwing AoE runes (GFB, Avalanche) to hit everything at once. Supplement with Strong Ethereal Spear (exori gran con, level 90) and Divine Caldera (exevo mas san) for even more damage. You can either kite (run-and-shoot) or box (stand still and tank) depending on the spot.

SPELL ROTATION (100-149)
AoE Rotation (boxing): Sharpshooter ON → Crystalline/Burst Arrows (auto) → Strong Ethereal Spear (exori gran con) → AoE Rune (GFB/Avalanche) → Divine Caldera (exevo mas san) → Divine Missile (exori san) → repeat
Kiting Rotation: Swift Foot ON → run through spawn pulling creatures → stop at corner → AoE rune into cluster → Strong Ethereal Spear → Divine Caldera → run to next cluster
Healing: Strong Mana Potions on cooldown, Great Spirit Potions when HP drops
Level 130-150: Pre-Diamond Push
Same arsenal, higher stats -- grind to the biggest power spike in the game
💡 THE FINAL STRETCH BEFORE DIAMOND ARROWS
Levels 130-150 are the last stretch before everything changes. Your hunting spots are the same as 100-130 but your higher HP pool and better skills let you pull larger groups and survive more comfortably. Focus on two things: speed (push Lava Lurkers as hard as possible) or gold farming (Putrid Mummies 350k/hr, Mini Rosha 200k/hr) to fund your level 150 equipment. You want a Jungle Bow or Thorn Spitter and Prismatic set ready for day one of Diamond Arrows.
BEST HUNTING SPOTS (130-150)
PREPARE YOUR LEVEL 150 LOADOUT
Before hitting 150, have these ready:
Jungle Bow or Thorn Spitter (Crossbow) -- your level 150 weapons
Prismatic Boots -- upgrade from your current boots
Tier 3 imbuements on your new weapon -- Critical Hit + Life Leech
Mana Leech on helmet -- Diamond Arrows cost 100 mana each to craft, you NEED mana sustain
Stock up on blank runes to craft Diamond Arrows immediately at 150
Level 150-200: Diamond Arrow Era
The biggest power spike in the game -- AoE arrows that double your exp/hr
💡 DIAMOND ARROWS CHANGE EVERYTHING
At level 150, you unlock Diamond Arrows -- AoE ammunition that hits all targets in a small area around your target. This single unlock doubles your exp/hr at virtually every hunting spot. Lava Lurkers jump from 1.1kk to 2.0kk/hr. Exotic Cave jumps from 750k to 1.5kk/hr. You craft Diamond Arrows yourself at 100 mana per arrow, so Mana Leech imbuements on your helmet are absolutely mandatory. This is the moment you have been grinding toward since level 100.

DIAMOND ARROW ROTATION (150+)
Boxing with Diamond Arrows: Sharpshooter ON → Diamond Arrows (auto-attack, AoE) → Strong Ethereal Spear (exori gran con) → AoE Rune (GFB/Avalanche) → Divine Caldera (exevo mas san) → Divine Missile (exori san) → repeat
Key change from pre-150: Diamond Arrows provide constant AoE damage on every auto-attack, so your total AoE output is massively higher. You no longer need Burst Arrows. Stack Diamond Arrow AoE + rune AoE + Divine Caldera for triple-layered AoE damage every rotation.
Mana management: Craft Diamond Arrows before hunting (100 mana each). Bring Strong Mana Potions and rely on Mana Leech to sustain mid-hunt.
Level 200+: What's Next
Endgame spots hitting 2.7kk exp/hr -- your journey is just beginning
💡 LEVEL 200 EQUIPMENT UPGRADE
At level 200, you unlock the endgame weapon tier: Bow of Destruction and Crossbow of Destruction. These are significant damage upgrades over the Jungle Bow and Thorn Spitter. At 220, the Living Vine Bow and Cobra Crossbow provide even higher damage. Pair with Gnome Armor for the best armor slot at this level.

💡 THE 250+ ENDGAME DREAM
At level 250, you unlock two of the best spots in the game: Werehyaenas South (2.6kk exp + 500k/hr profit) and Medusa Tower (2.4kk exp + 450k/hr profit). These spots combine endgame exp rates with incredible profit -- the best of both worlds. Getting to 250 is the next major milestone after 200. 💡 IMBUEMENT SETUP FOR 100-200
Bow (2 slots): Critical Hit (Tier 3) + Life Leech (Tier 3). Critical boosts all distance damage including Diamond Arrows. Life Leech sustains HP while boxing groups.
Helmet (1 slot): Mana Leech (Tier 3). Absolutely mandatory -- Diamond Arrows cost 100 mana each to craft, and your spells are expensive. Without Mana Leech you will run out of mana constantly.
Armor (optional): If your armor has an imbuement slot, add a second Life Leech or elemental protection depending on your hunting spot.
Always use Tier 3 (Intricate) imbuements at level 100+. The gold cost is always worth the stat improvement. See our Imbuement Guide for materials and costs.
Leveling Tips & Optimization
💡 KITING VS BOXING -- KNOW WHEN TO USE EACH
Boxing (standing still, Sharpshooter ON): Higher damage output because Sharpshooter boosts your distance damage significantly. Best at spots where you can tank the incoming damage (Lava Lurkers, Exotic Cave, Werehyaenas). With Diamond Arrows at 150+, boxing becomes the dominant strategy because Diamond Arrows AoE hits everything around your target.
Kiting (running and shooting, Swift Foot ON): Safer but lower damage per second. Use this at spots where the creatures hit too hard to box (Grim Reapers at 200 before you are geared, early attempts at new spots). Run through the spawn, pull creatures into a line, then stop at a corner and unload AoE runes into the cluster.
💡 MANA MANAGEMENT IS YOUR BOTTLENECK
Paladins are the most mana-hungry vocation from 150+. Diamond Arrows cost 100 mana each to craft. Strong Ethereal Spear costs 55 mana. Divine Caldera costs 160 mana. AoE runes cost gold. Your mana will drain fast without proper management.
Solutions: Mana Leech on helmet (mandatory). Strong Mana Potions on cooldown (always). Craft Diamond Arrows in batches before hunting, not during. Consider carrying extra mana potions over health potions -- Life Leech handles most of your HP sustain.
💡 CHOOSE YOUR RUNE ELEMENT BY SPOT
Unlike knights who use the same AoE spells everywhere, paladins choose different AoE runes based on creature elemental weaknesses. This makes a significant difference in damage output:
GFB (Great Fireball): Werecreatures, Exotic Cave creatures, Cults, Glooth Bandits
Avalanche: Lava Lurkers, Nightmare Scions, Werehyaenas, Oramond Minos, Lizard Chosens
Thunderstorm: Glooth Tower golems, Medusa Tower
Stoneshower: Barkless Elves
Always check creature weaknesses before hunting a new spot and bring the correct rune type.
💡 STAMINA MANAGEMENT
Keep stamina above 14 hours for the 50% bonus exp. At the exp rates in this guide (1-2kk/hr), losing the stamina bonus means losing 500k-1kk exp per hour -- that is enormous. The optimal pattern is to hunt for 2-3 hours, then logout and let stamina regenerate while you offline train your distance skill. Never hunt below 14 hours stamina. If you are power leveling, consider buying stamina refills from the store.
COMMON PALADIN MISTAKES TO AVOID
X Hunting with Crystalline Arrows after level 150 -- Diamond Arrows are strictly better for AoE
X Not imbuing Mana Leech on helmet -- you will run out of mana constantly at 150+
X Using the wrong rune element -- check creature weaknesses before each spot
X Forgetting to craft Diamond Arrows before hunting -- running out mid-hunt kills your exp/hr
X Using Sharpshooter at spots where you cannot tank the damage -- switch to Swift Foot for kiting
X Ignoring Divine Caldera (exevo mas san) -- it is your strongest AoE spell and should be used every rotation
X Hunting below 14 hours stamina -- at 2kk/hr you lose 1kk/hr without the bonus
💡 OFFLINE TRAINING AND DISTANCE SKILL
Distance skill directly multiplies all your ranged damage -- auto-attacks, Ethereal Spear, Strong Ethereal Spear, and Diamond Arrow damage all scale with it. Offline train at every logout to steadily increase your distance skill. A paladin with 100 distance does noticeably more damage than one with 85 distance using the same bow. At level 100+, consider buying exercise bows from the store for faster skill progression if you can afford it.
Frequently Asked Questions
When do Diamond Arrows unlock?
Level 150 -- this is the single biggest power spike for Paladins in the entire game. Diamond Arrows are AoE ammunition that hit all targets in a small area around your target. They effectively double your exp/hr at every hunting spot. Before 150, you rely on Crystalline Arrows (single target) plus AoE runes. After 150, Diamond Arrows replace your primary ammo for all AoE hunting. You craft them yourself using 100 mana per arrow.
Should I use Bow or Crossbow?
Bow for most hunting, Crossbow for specific bosses. Bows are the default choice because Diamond Arrows (the most important ammo in the game) are bow-only. Crossbows have stronger single-target bolts like Spectral Bolts which make them better for boss fights and single-target scenarios. Most paladins carry both and switch depending on the situation. For leveling 100-200, you will use a bow 95% of the time.
What is the best spot before Diamond Arrows?
Ravenous Lava Lurkers at 1.1kk exp/hr (100+) is the fastest but costs -200k/hr in supplies. If you cannot afford the waste, Nightmare Scions Krailos at 850k/hr with zero waste is the best alternative. For profit hunting, Putrid Mummies give 350k/hr loot (the best profit in this entire guide) and Mini Rosha gives 200k/hr loot with 700k exp.
What is the best profit spot for Paladins 100-200?
Putrid Mummies at 350k/hr loot with 550k exp/hr. Lower exp than other options but unbeatable profit. Mini Rosha (200k/hr loot, 700k exp) is the best balance of exp and profit. After Diamond Arrows at 150, Exotic Cave jumps to 1.5kk exp with 200k profit -- the best overall balanced spot. At 200+, Glooth Bandits give 350k/hr profit.
Should I use Sharpshooter or Swift Foot?
Sharpshooter (utito tempo san, level 60) boosts your distance damage significantly but prevents you from moving. Use it when boxing (standing still and tanking creatures around you). Swift Foot (utamo tempo san, level 55) boosts your movement speed instead. Use it when kiting (running and shooting). Most paladin hunting at 150+ involves boxing with Diamond Arrows, so Sharpshooter is used more often. You cannot have both active simultaneously.
When should I start using AoE runes?
Always. AoE runes (GFB, Avalanche, Thunderstorm, Stoneshower) are a core part of paladin hunting at every level. Even with Diamond Arrows providing AoE damage, runes add a second layer of AoE on a separate cooldown. Your rotation is: fire Diamond Arrows (auto-attack) → cast Strong Ethereal Spear → throw AoE rune → cast Divine Caldera→ repeat. Choose your rune element based on creature weakness at each spot.
What imbuements should I use?
Weapon (Bow): Critical Hit + Life Leech. Critical boosts all your damage including Diamond Arrows. Life Leech keeps you alive while boxing.
Helmet: Mana Leech. Paladins are extremely mana-hungry with Diamond Arrow crafting (100 mana each) plus spell costs. Mana Leech on helmet is mandatory.
Always use Tier 3 (Intricate) imbuements at level 100+. The cost is worth the significant stat boost. Check our Imbuement Guide for materials and costs.
Crystalline Arrows vs Burst Arrows?
Crystalline Arrows are single-target with higher base damage -- use them for general hunting and single-target situations from level 90+. Burst Arrows are AoE but deal less damage per target -- use them at spots like Ravenous Lava Lurkers where AoE matters more than single-target. At level 150, Diamond Arrows replace both for all AoE hunting because they combine high damage with AoE, making them strictly superior. After 150, you only use Crystalline Arrows for occasional single-target boss fights.
