📜
Introduction
The Lightbearer event is an event occurring in November in which participants must keep basins lit. It was first introduced in 2009 but already tested in the test server preceding the summer update of 2009 and again in the test server preceding the autumn patch of 2009.
The event consists of keeping 10 different Lightbringer's Basins burning for 96 hours.
Each player can only light each basin once per year. The Magical Torch is used to keep the Lightbringer's Basins burning and vanishes at the end of November.
When you use the torch on a basin, the time of the basin will reset, for example if it was 98/180 minutes, and you use it, you will reset it to 180/180 minutes, that way you can do all the basins and still keep them lit. Also you don't have to kill the respawns to make it count as if you lit the basin. This means everybody get to use the basins if they can, and if they do it, they won't affect the schedulers of the other organized players, but still you should collaborate with your fellow world partners.
After using your Magical Torch on the basins you have a chance to get 5 minutes of respawn. Creatures that respawn depends on what basin you are and they can come in packs from 1 to 5. The respawns increase in difficulty up to the 3rd or 4th respawn, and then decrease again. For the Forbidden Lands and Magician Quarter locations the spawned monsters are particularly difficult, and even high level players may want a 2nd player there to assist with killing them.
Magical Torches are not assigned to players. You can share your torch with other players. This means that Free Account players can participate in the event if someone lets them use their torch.
The event requires a lot of teamwork and organization, especially on servers with few people. There are online tools available to make it easier. TibiaWiki's own Lightbearer Basin Monitor records the amount of time on each basin; TibiaRoyal has a timetable tool for event manager (requires registration).

METHOD
Seek Lucius in the Yalahar Magician Quarter. He is in the north-eastern area (around ). Say hi, and yes. He will bring you to the Temple of Light. Go upstairs and find him again, say hi to him and ask him for a mission, say yes to get your Magical Torch.
This magical torch will be used to light Lightbringer's Basin all around the world, which can be done in any order. They are:
Basin 1: Formorgar Glacier:
Leave Svargrond from the north and walk west. Walk along the outside of the mountain (avoiding Svargrond Frost Trolls) until you find a place to levitate up three times. Levitate up to the top and walk around clockwise to the south side of the mountain. Levitate up again and follow the path west until you find the basin.
Basin 2: Plains of Havoc:
Go to Plains of Havoc and head directly south. It is near the Knightwatch Tower, south of the mountain you find the Holy Tible in.
Basin 3: Forbidden Lands:
Requirements:
Access to the Forbidden Lands of Tiquanda (requires Mission 8 of The Ape City Quest).
Travel east across Tiquanda to the foot of the mountain , where you’ll find The Blind Prophet. You must ask him to Transport you into the Forbidden Lands.
Once inside, follow the coastline northeast until you reach the basin, located slightly northeast of the Forbidden Lands Behemoth Cave.
This area is known for heavy overspawning. It’s strongly advised to remain in the basin and continuously kill the creatures until they stop spawning (usually after about 5 minutes). There’s a small spot north of the basin where only one creature can melee you, making it easier to handle. If the basin becomes overspawned, use extreme caution and avoid luring monsters toward the ramp, as this makes it more difficult for others to assist in clearing the area.
Basin 4: Dwacatra:
Bring Key 3802. From the Kazordoon main gate (you can take the wagons to "Main Gate" to get there), go down the staircase to the far east of the wagons. Go all the way down to reach Dwacatra. The basin is at the far north end of the prison, directly north of the entrance.
This is the easiest basin to manage because it's in an easy location and it's accessible to free account players. It's still a good idea to check on it now and then. In particular, disruptive players may block access to the basin by locking the Dwacatra door.
Basin 5: Ramoa:
If you have completed The Shattered Isles Quest, your trip is a lot easier. Go to Ramoa through the Goroma teleport hub and go west to reach the sea. Follow the sea to the south until you find the basin.
If you haven't completed The Shattered Isles Quest, you will need to do this. First it is advisable to check the World Board if the Goroma mini-world change Fire from the Earth is active. If it's active, it is strongly recommended to wait, otherwise you may need a team. Complete The Shattered Isles Quest until you reach Ramoa. Go west to find the basin when you reach the Ramoa surface. After you light the basin, you can go back to Goroma through the teleport hub.
Note: creature list does not include creatures found on the route through Goroma volcano.
Basin 6: Hero Cave:
Go to the Hero Cave and follow the cave as if you were doing the Annihilator Quest. On the last turn instead of going south, continue east. You will see a pit with a Demon in it. The basin is on the north side. You do not need to go in the pit. Warning: the teleport will take you into the pit.

Basin 7: Drefia:
The basin is near the level 60 Gate of Expertise leading to Medusa Shield Quest and Drefia Wyrm Lair.
Basin 8: Hellgate:
See Route:Hellgate for information on how to get there.
Basin 9: Tarpit Tomb:
The basin is located at the first hunting floor, northwest of entrance.
Basin 10: Magician Quarter:
Go to the Hellspawn area of Magician Quarter. Go down the east ramp. Look to the west and see if there is an overspawn of Duskbringers. If there is, fight your way through the cave to the other side. Otherwise, simply go up the ramp and down the west ramp. The basin is just north-west of the west ramp.
The hardest basin to guard due to the location and basin creature strength. Luring and overspawning is serious problem at this basin. It's a good idea to go down the east ramp first to check if there are basin creatures near the other ramp. If you see a lot of Duskbringers then you should kill your way through to the other side. Do not attempt clearing a full spawn of Duskbringers from the west ramp. It is much, much safer to kill your way through the cave. Consider using Energy Wall Runes to kill Duskbringers in more manageable numbers if you must go through the cave.
Yalahar might seem to be the most convenient option for players who only do 1 basin (being that it's so close to Lucius) but for the basin managers' sake it is strongly recommended to light a different basin.
