Midnight Shard

It can be obtained throughout and as reward of The Lightbearer event. Can be traded for experience points with Lucius during and after succeeding in The Lightbearer event. A Game World that has failed the event can not exchange them. For each Midnight Shard, characters can gain 300 \cdot L experience; L being the character's level. Note that the formula is not \sum_i=1^N 300L_i (for N shards), so if a character levels up by using one shard, they will gain 300 more experience per shard for the next level. Thus, it is slightly better to trade them incrementally than all at once. Check the table for better results. A character can trade up to 80 shards for experience per year. However, an arbitrary amount of shards can be traded for gold.
