Tyrsung

Tyrsung is a small island to the south-east of Hrodmir. An ice shield is covering the mountain of Tyrsung. Tyrsung and Okolnir broke apart from the main island because of a deep ocean trench where two oceanic crusts diverge. There have been reports of frost giants inhabitating the ice shield. Far to the south of the island it has been said that furriers have settled in there and are posing a rather worrying threat to the seals and other local fauna. Note that this page does not cover the Frost Giants' mountain, Jotunar, in the middle of the island. The Mountain in the center of the island is a great place for players between level 40 and 60 to hunt. With bonus you can make about 55k/hour. See Jotunar for more information. At the top of the mountain is also the portal to the Court of Winter. Note: In order to travel to Tyrsung from NPC Buddel, it is necessary, in addition to Barbarian Test Quest, to have completed the first and start at least the second mission of The Ice Islands Quest.
