This is the third-strongest ammunition in the game, beaten by more rare Infernal Bolts and Spectral Bolts. Before the addition of Spectral Bolts to NPC shops, this used to be the strongest ammunition players could buy in shops. The arrow counterpart is Crystalline Arrow with 1 less attack. These bolts are intended to be an alternative to using Assassin Stars, compared to which they are cheaper (33gp average vs. 20gp per hit), stronger (65 vs 66+crossbow bonuses) and hit about as accurately.
