ABOUT THE QUEST

The Inquisition Quest — also known as the Demon Hunter Outfits Quest — is one of the most comprehensive quest lines in Tibia. Spanning 7 missions across multiple cities, it takes you from interrogating suspicious guards in Thais to battling through the depths of the Demon Forge to destroy the Shadow Nexus itself.

The quest is given by NPC Henricus, located one floor below ground level in Thais. Beyond the iconic Emerald Sword and other reward weapons, completing the full quest line unlocks the Demon Hunter Outfit with both addons — one of the most recognized outfits in the game.

The first six missions can be completed solo or with a small group, but the final mission — the assault on the Shadow Nexus — requires a well-organized team of high-level players ready to face Juggernauts, Demons, and worse.

  • -- Level 150+ recommended for Mission 7 (Shadow Nexus)

STEP-BY-STEP WALKTHROUGH — ALL 7 MISSIONS

MISSION 1: INTERROGATION

1

Join The Inquisition

Thais — Henricus (1 floor down)
Go to Thais and find NPC Henricus one floor below ground level. Tell him you want to join The Inquisition. He will assign you to investigate five guards in Thais who may be involved in suspicious activity.
Henricus— say "join"
Ask Henricus about joining the Inquisition. He will explain the purpose of The Inquisition and assign your first mission: interrogating five guards scattered around Thais.
2

Interrogate the Five Guards

Thais — Various Locations
Find and speak to each of the five guards using specific dialogue keywords. The guards are Walter, Kulag, Grof, Miles, and Tim. Each conversation follows a specific path:
GUARDDIALOGUE KEYWORDS
Walterhi → trouble → authorities → avoided → gods would allow
Kulaghi → trouble → authorities
Grofhi → trouble → authorities
Mileshi → trouble → foresight of the authorities → also for the gods → trouble will arise in the near future
Timhi → trouble → authorities → avoided → gods would allow

💡 TIP

The dialogue keywords must be typed exactly as shown. If a guard does not respond, make sure you are using the correct sequence. After interrogating all five, return to Henricus to report.
3

Report Back to Henricus

Thais
After interrogating all five guards, return to Henricus and report your findings. He will confirm your success and assign you to Mission 2.

MISSION 2: ECLIPSE

4

Travel to Femor Hills

Femor Hills — Uzon
Henricus sends you to retrieve The Witches' Grimoire from the witches at Femor Hills. Travel to the Femor Hills carpet NPC and say the keyword “Eclipse” to Uzon to gain access to the witches' area.
Uzon— say "Eclipse"
Say “Eclipse” to the carpet NPC Uzon at Femor Hills. This is the password that grants access to the witches' cave area.
5

Retrieve the Grimoire

Femor Hills — Witches' Cave
Once inside, use a vial of holy water on the big cauldron in the witches' cave. Then open the chest to retrieve The Witches' Grimoire. Be prepared for combat.

DANGER

The cave contains up to 8 Witches, 2 Ghouls, and a Dark Magician. Clear the room before interacting with the cauldron to avoid taking unnecessary damage during the process.
6

Return the Grimoire

Thais — Henricus
Bring The Witches' Grimoire back to Henricus to complete Mission 2.

MISSION 3: VAMPIRE HUNT

7

Find Storkus

West of Dwarf Bridge
Henricus tells you about a vampire threat. Travel west of Dwarf Bridge to find NPC Storkus, who is leading the vampire hunt effort.
8

Deliver 20 Vampire Dusts

Storkus
Give Storkus the 20 Vampire Dusts he needs. He will then direct you to kill The Count, a powerful vampire boss hiding in the Green Claw Swamp area near the Blood Herb Quest location.
9

Kill The Count

Green Claw Swamp
Travel to the Green Claw Swamp, near the Blood Herb Quest area. Find the room with the coffin and three counters. Before summoning The Count, you have an important strategic choice.

💡 TIP

Weakening The Count: Place 3 Garlic Necklaces on the three counters in the room BEFORE using the coffin to summon The Count. This spawns The Weakened Count instead, who has significantly reduced HP and damage output. This makes the fight much more manageable, especially for solo players.

DANGER

If you summon The Count without placing Garlic Necklaces, he will be at full strength. The full-power Count hits hard with melee and life drain. Do not underestimate him — come prepared with strong healing potions and fire protection.
10

Return the Ring

Storkus
After defeating The Count (or The Weakened Count), pick up the Ring of the Count from his corpse. Return it to Storkus to complete Mission 3, then report back to Henricus.

MISSION 4: THE HAUNTED RUIN

11

Get the Special Flask

Thais — Henricus
Talk to Henricus to receive a Special Flask containing holy water. He will send you to Liberty Bay to investigate a haunted old house.
12

Exorcise the Haunted House

Liberty Bay
Travel to Liberty Bay and find the old house. Use the vial of holy water on the north-west corner of the building. A Pirate Ghost will spawn from the disturbance.

💡 TIP

Killing the Pirate Ghost is optional. After using the holy water, simply wait approximately 10 seconds for the door to open. You can then proceed inside without fighting the ghost.
13

Report to Henricus

Thais
Return to Henricus and report that you have dealt with the haunted ruin. Mission 4 complete.

MISSION 5: ESSENTIAL GATHERING

14

Deliver 20 Demonic Essences

Thais — Henricus
Henricus needs 20 Demonic Essences for the Inquisition's rituals. Hand them over to complete this mission. Demonic Essences drop from Demons, Demon Lords, Hellfire Fighters, and other high-level demon creatures.
15

Receive the Demon Hunter Outfit

Thais — Henricus
After delivering the Demonic Essences, ask Henricus about the “outfit”. He will grant you the base Demon Hunter Outfit (without addons). The addons are unlocked by completing Missions 6 and 7.

💡 TIP

If you already have 20 Demonic Essences in your backpack, this is the fastest mission in the entire quest line. Buy them from the Market beforehand to save time.

MISSION 6: THE DEMON UNGREEZ

16

Find and Kill Ungreez

Edron Hero Cave — Deep Floors
Henricus sends you to eliminate Ungreez, a demon lurking in the depths of the Edron Hero Cave. Descend several floors through the Hero Cave until you reach Ungreez's chamber. He functions similarly to a regular Demon and respawns every 5 to 15 minutes.

DANGER

Each player must deal the MOST damage to Ungreez to receive kill credit. If you are in a team, each member needs to get their own kill. Wait for Ungreez to respawn (5-15 minute timer) and take turns dealing the majority of the damage.
17

Report and Receive First Addon

Thais — Henricus
Return to Henricus after killing Ungreez to receive the first addon for the Demon Hunter Outfit.

DANGER

IMPORTANT: Once you report the kill to Henricus, you will lose access to the Ungreez room permanently. Make sure everyone in your group has gotten their kill before anyone reports back.

MISSION 7: THE SHADOW NEXUS (FINAL MISSION)

DANGER

This is the hardest mission in the entire quest. You MUST bring a large, organized team of level 150+ players. You also need to have absorbed the spirit of at least one of The Ruthless Seven from the Pits of Inferno Quest to access the Demon Forge.
18

Enter the Demon Forge

Demon Forge
With your team assembled and Pits of Inferno access confirmed, enter the Demon Forge. This is one of the most dangerous areas in all of Tibia, populated by the deadliest creatures in the game.
19

Fight Through the Demon Forge

Demon Forge — Multiple Floors
Navigate through the Demon Forge while fighting waves of extremely dangerous creatures. Your team will encounter:
  • -- Juggernauts — Massive HP, devastating melee damage
  • -- Lost Souls — Dangerous life drain attacks
  • -- Dark Torturers — High damage output
  • -- Hellfire Fighters — Fire-based area attacks
  • -- Demons — Standard but still deadly in groups
  • -- Undead Dragons, Hellhounds, Hands of Cursed Fate
  • -- Behemoths, Nightmares, Giant Spiders

DANGER

Juggernauts are the biggest threat in the Demon Forge. They have extremely high HP and deal massive physical damage. Knights must block them while the rest of the team focuses damage. Never let a Juggernaut reach your mages or paladins.
20

Destroy the Shadow Nexus

Demon Forge — Deepest Level
Reach the Shadow Nexus at the deepest level of the Demon Forge. Use a vial of holy water on the Shadow Nexus to destroy it. The area will be heavily guarded, so your team must maintain formation while one player performs the ritual.

💡 TIP

Team Composition for Mission 7: Bring at least 2-3 high-level Knights to block Juggernauts and other melee threats. Several Druids for healing (Exura Sio the blockers), and Sorcerers/Paladins for ranged damage. Communication is critical — use voice chat.
21

Claim Your Final Rewards

Thais — Henricus
After destroying the Shadow Nexus, return to Henricus. He will grant you the second addon for the Demon Hunter Outfit and allow you to choose one reward weapon or armor piece.

REWARD OPTIONS — CHOOSE ONE

Upon completing all 7 missions, you may choose ONE of the following reward items from Henricus. Choose based on your vocation and current equipment needs.

WEAPONS

🏆 Emerald Sword

Two-handed sword. A strong melee weapon for sword-wielding Knights. One of the classic Inquisition rewards and still serviceable at mid-levels.

🏆 Hellforged Axe

Two-handed axe. The axe counterpart to the Emerald Sword. Preferred by axe-specializing Knights looking for a solid quest reward weapon.

🏆 Obsidian Truncheon

Two-handed club weapon. For club-wielding Knights who want the Inquisition reward equivalent in their preferred weapon class.

🏆 Warsinger Bow

A bow for Paladins. Strong option for bow-using Royal Paladins seeking a reliable ranged weapon from quest rewards.

🏆 Royal Crossbow

A crossbow for Paladins. Alternative to the Warsinger Bow for crossbow-specializing Royal Paladins.

🏆 Spellbook of Dark Mysteries

A powerful spellbook for Mages. Provides magic level bonus and defense. The go-to choice for Druids and Sorcerers completing the Inquisition.

ARMOR

🏆 Fireborn Giant Armor

Heavy armor suited for Knights. Provides strong physical protection with fire resistance properties.

🏆 Master Archer's Armor

Armor designed for Paladins. Balances protection with the mobility that ranged fighters need.

🏆 Robe of the Underworld

A magical robe for Mages. Offers magic level enhancement alongside protective stats, making it valuable for Druids and Sorcerers.

🏆 Merudri Nanbando

A specialized armor piece. An alternative choice for players seeking a different defensive option from the standard vocation armors.

💡 TIP

Our recommendation by vocation: Knights should pick the weapon matching their skill (Emerald Sword, Hellforged Axe, or Obsidian Truncheon). Paladins benefit most from the Warsinger Bow or Royal Crossbow. Mages should choose the Spellbook of Dark Mysteries for the magic level bonus. The armor options are situational — only pick armor if you already have a better weapon equipped.

ADDITIONAL REWARDS

🏆 Demon Hunter Outfit

Unlocked progressively: base outfit after Mission 5, first addon after Mission 6, second addon after Mission 7. One of the most prestigious outfits in Tibia.

🏆 Blessing of the Inquisition

A purchasable blessing available from Henricus after completing all 7 missions. Reduces experience and skill loss on death, stacking with other blessings.

🏆 Achievements

Three achievements are awarded: High Inquisitor, Master of the Nexus, and Demonbane. These track your progression through the quest line.

🏆 Demon Forge Access

Completing the quest grants permanent access to deeper areas of the Demon Forge, which contains valuable hunting grounds for high-level players.

DANGERS BY MISSION

MISSIONDANGEROUS CREATURES
Mission 1None (dialogue only)
Mission 2Witches, Ghouls, Dark Magician
Mission 3The Count (or The Weakened Count), Vampires
Mission 4Pirate Ghost (optional fight)
Mission 5None (delivery only)
Mission 6Ungreez (Demon-type), Hero Cave creatures
Mission 7Juggernauts, Demons, Lost Souls, Dark Torturers, Hellfire Fighters, Undead Dragons, Hellhounds, Behemoths, Nightmares, Giant Spiders, Hands of Cursed Fate

PRO TIPS

  • 1. Prepare all quest items first. Gather 20 Vampire Dusts, 20 Demonic Essences, and 3 Garlic Necklaces before starting Mission 1. This lets you blitz through Missions 3 and 5 without stopping to farm.
  • 2. Always use Garlic Necklaces on The Count. There is no advantage to fighting The Count at full power. The Weakened Count drops the same Ring of the Count required for quest completion.
  • 3. Do Missions 1-5 solo. These missions involve no dangerous combat (except the manageable Mission 2 and Mission 3 fights). Save your team coordination for Missions 6 and 7.
  • 4. Coordinate Ungreez kills carefully. In Mission 6, each player needs individual kill credit. Take turns dealing majority damage. Do NOT report to Henricus until every team member has their kill — the room becomes inaccessible after reporting.
  • 5. Complete Pits of Inferno early. You need at least one Ruthless Seven spirit absorbed for Mission 7. Do not wait until the last minute to handle this prerequisite.
  • 6. Mission 7 demands voice chat. The Demon Forge is lethal. Call out Juggernaut spawns, coordinate healing, and designate blockers. Text chat is too slow for this content.
  • 7. Bring fire protection for Mission 7. Many Demon Forge creatures deal fire damage. Fire resistance equipment and Might Rings significantly improve survivability.
  • 8. Buy the Blessing of the Inquisition immediately. After completing all 7 missions, purchase the blessing from Henricus right away. It reduces your death penalty and stacks with other blessings.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What level do I need for the Inquisition Quest?

The minimum level is 100 for Mission 6 (Ungreez) and Mission 7 (Shadow Nexus). Earlier missions have no level requirement. However, level 150+ is strongly recommended for Mission 7, as the Demon Forge contains Juggernauts, Hellfire Fighters, and other extremely dangerous creatures that will overwhelm lower-level players.

Can I do the Inquisition Quest solo?

Missions 1 through 6 can be completed solo or in a small group. Mission 7 (The Shadow Nexus) requires a large, organized team of level 150+ players due to the sheer number of dangerous creatures in the Demon Forge, including Juggernauts, Lost Souls, and Dark Torturers.

What is the best reward weapon to choose?

It depends on your vocation. Knights typically choose the Emerald Sword (sword) or Hellforged Axe (axe). Paladins benefit most from the Warsinger Bow or Royal Crossbow. Mages generally pick the Spellbook of Dark Mysteries. For armor, Fireborn Giant Armor suits knights, Master Archer's Armor fits paladins, and Robe of the Underworld is best for mages.

Where do I get 20 Vampire Dusts?

Vampire Dusts drop from Vampires, Vampire Brides, and Vampire Viscounts. Good farming locations include the Edron Vampire Crypt, Drefia, and the vampire cave near Darashia. You can also buy them from other players via the Market.

How do I weaken The Count in Mission 3?

Before using the coffin to summon The Count, place 3 Garlic Necklaces on the three counters in the room. This summons The Weakened Count instead, who has significantly less HP and deals less damage, making the fight much easier to solo.

What is the Blessing of the Inquisition?

The Blessing of the Inquisition is a purchasable blessing that becomes available after completing the quest. Like other blessings, it reduces the death penalty (experience and skill loss) when you die. You can buy it from Henricus in Thais after finishing all 7 missions.

Do I need to complete Pits of Inferno first?

Yes, for Mission 7. You must have absorbed the spirit of at least one of The Ruthless Seven during the Pits of Inferno Quest to access the Demon Forge and the Shadow Nexus. Without this, you cannot enter the final mission area.

Is the Demon Hunter Outfit tradeable?

No, outfits in Tibia are character-bound and cannot be traded, sold, or transferred. Each character must complete the Inquisition Quest independently to unlock the Demon Hunter Outfit and its addons.
