Quest Overview

The Way of the Monk Quest was introduced in the Monk Vocation Update (version 15.00). It follows the path of the ancient Merudri — a pilgrimage across 10 shrines scattered throughout Tibia, from the starter island of Targuna all the way to the mountains of Kilmaresh.

Each shrine has a minimum level requirement and must be visited in order from lowest to highest. You cannot skip shrines. Every shrine grants experience to all vocations, while Monks receive additional exclusive rewards at each stop.

💡 IMPORTANT

Non-Monk vocations should start from the Blue Valley section. The quest is worth doing on any vocation for the 847,800 XP and 10 Promotion Points alone.

XP Breakdown

Where the 847,800 XP comes from

💡 XP TOTALS

Non-Monk vocations receive 847,800 XP total from visiting all 10 shrines. The bulk comes from the final three: Knowledge (75,000), Serenity (150,000), and Eternity (500,000). The quest is worth doing on any character for the XP and Promotion Points alone.

6

Monk-Exclusive Rewards

Equipment, spells, and combat bonuses only Monks receive

Monks receive significantly more from this quest than other vocations. Here's the full breakdown:

EQUIPMENT (7 PIECES)

SPELLS & COMBAT

  • Mystic Repulse spell — Respect, lvl 30
  • Forceful Uppercut spell — Knowledge, lvl 110
  • Focus Harmony — Eternity, lvl 275
  • +25% auto attack damage — cumulative from 5 shrines at +5% each
  • +50% auto attack damage — when in Serene state (doubles the 25%)

💡 AUTO ATTACK BONUS BREAKDOWN

The auto attack bonus stacks from 5 shrines (Respect, Legacy, Empathy, Harmony, and Power), each granting +5% base auto attack damage. When a Monk enters the Serene state, this bonus doubles — so 25% becomes 50%. This is one of the strongest passives available to any vocation.
