OVERVIEW: SPRING 2026 VOCATION BALANCING
CipSoft announced a major vocation balancing update in Spring 2026 focused on three core pillars:
- Strengthening Vocation Identity — Each vocation has distinct, meaningful gameplay contributions
- Gameplay Innovation — New mechanics and features to keep the game fresh
- Quality of Life — Improved player experience through better tools and systems

GENERAL CHANGES (ALL VOCATIONS)
Magic Shield Rework
Before: Magic Shield (utamo vita) absorbed unlimited damage using mana until mana depleted.
After: Magic Shield now only absorbs a limited amount of damage before breaking. The cap is based on:
- Your character level
- Your magic level (including equipment bonuses)
Once the damage cap is reached, the spell effect disappears regardless of remaining mana.
Energy Ring Restriction
Sorcerers and Druids can NO LONGER use Energy Rings.
Replacement: New consumable item Mana Shield Potion provides Magic Shield effect without casting the spell. New spell Cancel Magic Shield added.
KNIGHT CHANGES

- Front Sweep
- Berserk
- Fierce Berserk
- Brutal Strike
- Annihilation
- Groundshaker
- Whirlwind Throw
Blood Rage Adjustment
Before: Increased damage dealt, with existing downsides
After: Now increases ALL damage received by 15% in addition to existing downsides. Risk/reward is higher.
Protector Rework
Before: Prevented knight from attacking
After:
- Reduces damage received by 15%
- No longer prevents attacking
- Reduces outgoing damage by 35% for 10 seconds
Strong Mana Potions
Knights can now drink Strong Mana Potions. Massive quality of life improvement for sustain.
PALADIN CHANGES
Great Mana Potions
Paladins can now drink Great Mana Potions. Huge buff to mana sustain.
✓ Elemental Imbuements
Bows and Crossbows can now be imbued with elemental damage Imbuements. Previously only melee weapons could get elemental imbues.
Sharpshooter Nerf
Before: +50% distance skill bonus
After: +40% distance skill bonus (20% relative nerf)
New Promotion Spell: Divine Dazzle
Divine Dazzle replaces other spells as the Paladin's Promotion spell. (Specific details TBA)
SORCERER CHANGES
Sorcerers are affected by the General Changes:
- Magic Shield now has damage cap
- Can no longer use Energy Rings
- Can use Mana Shield Potion consumable
DRUID CHANGES
✓ Mana Cost Reductions
Druids are also affected by the General Changes (Magic Shield cap, no Energy Rings).
MONK BALANCING HISTORY
Introduction: April 8, 2025
Monk vocation released as the 5th vocation after 28 years. Introduced three unique mechanics:
- Harmony: Resource built with Builder Spells, consumed with Spender Spells
- Virtue: Passive bonuses and healing effects
- Virtue Healing: Lowest HP party member healed when Harmony is built/spent
Harmony Nerfs (2025-2026)
- Harmony base bonus: 10% → 8%
- Spender spells damage reduced
- Mana consumption decreased to compensate
- Harmony base bonus: 8% → 7%
- Virtue of Harmony: 4% → 3% (regular)
- Virtue of Harmony: 8% → 6% (Serene state)
Monk damage was too high compared to other vocations, requiring multiple balance passes.
